Registering to Vote:  Follow this link for step by step instructions on registering to vote anywhere in the US.

• If you are a new registrant, you must provide proof of identification (see below)

• Oregon elections are Vote by mail.  

• Any resident of Oregon who is a U.S. citizen and 18 years of age or older may register to vote

• You may register at any time, but you must be registered before 5 p.m. on the 21st day before the election at which you intend to vote.

• You may register in person at the Curry County Elections Office in the Curry County Courthouse, Gold Beach.

• You may register by picking up a voter registration card at various places in the county, including libraries, most banks and state offices.

• You may also register by completing and mailing in a voter registration card, downloaded from the Oregon Secretary of State .

For new registrants only, beginning January 1, 2006:

• If you have a current, valid Oregon DMV driver's license or ID, you must provide that number in section 4 of the voter registration form.

• If you do not have a current, valid Oregon DMV driver's license or ID, you must provide the last four digits of your Social Security number in section 4a of the voter registration form.

Remaining eligible: You need to reregister if:

• your residence or mailing address changes

• your residence changes, even though you use a Post Office Box and your mailing address does not change

• you move into a residence home or other facility

• your name is changed

• you wish to change your party affiliation

• your registration has been cancelled
